Recently, I wrote a post about digital work for automotive brands, and mentioned that I couldn't find a document that had a summary of useful examples in one place. Following the very useful comments to the post and on Twitter, I put together some slides that chronicle them, as a handy reference for everyone.

Not all of them are very inspiring, this should be treated as a list rather than an endorsement - interactive films, for example, have been common fare for brands like Dove in the past. The slides also don't cover concept cars or technological advancements such as the Ford MyTouch system that works with Microsoft's Auto 4.0.  Other observations:

- BMW have a lot going on digitally, like for example their online magazines.

- Electric vehicles are becoming popular in terms of digital spend; after Fiat Eco:Drive, there's now the Nissan Leaf, Ford Focus Electric and BMW EVolve.

Thanks to Snorre MartinsenLuis-Daniel Alegría, Mark Carroll, and Ciaran Oliver for their contributions.
