I was hunting on the web the other day for a comprehensive list of UK brands on Twitter, as part of some research. Some UK brands are included in Fluent Simplicity’s Social Brand Index, an extremely comprehensive list of brands on Twitter, but it is more US-focussed, with just a few UK brands.

So I decided to start a wiki and populate it on my own to start with, but keeping with the general idea of a wiki, it would be great if all of you could contribute going forward – I’m pretty sure this isn’t a complete list, with plenty of UK brands probably joining Twitter every day.

I used Noah Brier’s My First Tweet to see when they joined Twitter: interesting observations include the fact that so far the Tate and the Liberal Democrats are the ones who seem to have led the Twitter trend – they joined way back in 2007.

So – here you go.
